Jim Butler Chief Technology Officer
Bio
Dr. Jim Butler has over 20 years’ experience in technology leadership roles across a variety of industries. He has held Chief Technology Officer positions at Stavvy, HqO, Verizon Media’s Global Supply Platforms, Nexage, Matchmine, and eCredit. In addition, Jim was instrumental in the creation of the industry standard OpenRTB, widely credited with driving the growth of mobile advertising and programmatic advertising overall. Jim holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, a Master’s in Computer Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a BSEE Magna Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
